Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering (SCTCE) or SCT College of Engineering is a state-government-sponsored engineering college〔(EDUGRID )〕 in Thiruvananthapuram (formerly Trivandrum), Kerala, India. In 2006 ''Outlook'' magazine gave it a rank of 98 in its list of Top 100 Engineering Colleges of India, and it is one of the top 3 Engineering colleges in Kerala.〔(Outlook - Cfore Survey 2006 - India's Top Engineering And Medical Colleges )〕 It is one of three engineering colleges from the state of Kerala to appear on the list. In 2011 WEEK survey, it was ranked 65th in the list of top 100 engineering colleges in India. ==Administration== The governing body of the college is constituted by the government of Kerala is chaired by the Minister for Transport, government of Kerala, with Higher Education Secretary, Finance Secretary, Transport Secretary and Managing Director, KSRTC〔(DIRECTORATE OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION-KERALA )〕 (Kerala State Road Transport Corporation) as ''ex officio'' members. Two other members (education experts) are nominated by the chairman. Established under the University of Kerala in 1995, with AICTE approval, it is a college accredited by the National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi, and ISO 9001:2000 Certification. SCTCE is one of the seven colleges in the state of Kerala aided under the World Bank funded Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP).
